My Santa Fe Birthday 2010
 | Susie's
sister-in-law, Janiece, invited us to join her in Santa Fe the week of
my birthday. It was heaven! Here we are at the French Pastry Shop --
a mainstay while we were there. (l. to r.): Janiece, Susie, Buddy, Ralna. |
Santa Fe has some of the best restaurants in the US of A and we
hit most of them while we were there. "Eat, Pray, Love" had nothing on us! We could have written a book called, "Eat, Eat, Eat!" Here we are having "take out"
tamales and posole at Janiece and Steve's (Susie's brother) beautiful
home. |
 |
 | When girls get together, it's always fun to do facials! |
 |
The Navajo Indians have been on the Plaza in Santa Fe selling
their beautiful jewelry and bead work for generations. We managed to go
there more than once to have a look!
|
One day we were lucky enough to experience a great Arts Festival in downtown Santa Fe's historic Plaza.

We celebrated the night of my birthday at a wonderful Italian restaurant called Pronzo. We had a wonderful four-course meal!

|
What a treat to have a very special apricot tart from the French Pastry Shop for my birthday. Thank you Janiece and Susie! |

We took a side trip one day to the nearly 200-year-old Santuario de Chimayo. They
called it the "Lourdes of America" because of all the miracles that have happened there. |
| We lit candles for our loved ones in the beautiful Chapel. |

Denny and Buddy took a walk every day in Santa Fe! After we all
went to Chimayo, we truly believe Buddy received a healing of his
hip...he hasn't limped since! |
